“Art Connects Women”
international conference
with exhibition

Under the patronage of UNESCO, the sixth edition of the international conference “Art Connects Women” was held at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library in Dubai.


From 8 to 11 March, the organisers ZeeArts presented the exhibition “Dare to Dream” in the elegant space of Al Habtoor Palace. Among the 112 representatives from all over the world, the art director of the Amateras Foundation – Daniela Todorova – took part in it. Bulgaria was represented by the work “The Great Mother”.


The exhibition was officially opened by His Excellency Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh, Patron of Arts and Culture, Cultural Adviser to the President of the UAE and the Chancellor of UAE University.

The conference included three discussion panels addressing women's issues:  
“Art and Finance”
“Embrace Justice”
“Women Architects and Cultural Heritage”


Speakers who participated in the discussions and presentations included representatives from the UN – UAE, Grant Thornton – UAE, numerous business and arts entities from the UAE, UK, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, India, Congo, Lebanon, Mauritius, Philippines, Seychelles, and many other countries.
