The Role of Art
in Troubled Times

On 10 November, the public discussion “The Role of Art in Troubled Times” took place at the RCCA Topocentrala with the participation of cultural managers, representatives of cultural institutions and embassies. During the discussion, a number of topics were touched upon, such as how art reacts in times of conflict, problems of representation in the media, the need to preserve memory, as well as examples from Bulgarian and foreign contemporary art were mentioned.

The movie Culture vs War by the prominent Ukranian writer Serhiy Zhadan was screened during the event.
