Japan Bowl III
An essential focus in SPAF 2021’s program is the junior competition Japan Bowl, which will be held for a third consecutive time starting on the 12th June at the ‘Marble foyer’ of the National Palace of Culture. The focus is Japanese language and culture.
Established 20 years ago in the USA, currently, the forum is expanding its horizon each year attracting new countries to participate. ‘Amateras’ Foundation, awarded by the Japanese government for its work in promoting Japanese culture in Bulgaria and Bulgarian culture in Japan, is chosen to be the main organizer of the event in Bulgaria. The members of the jury are representatives of the Japanese foundation, Ministry of Inferior and the Japanese Embassy in Bulgaria. The event is held under the patronage of the Japanese Embassy in Bulgaria.
