New Horizons II
Bulgaria – Republic of Korea
Residency Project in Levski Municipality

The concept for an international one-week residency was born at the beginning of the cultural partnership between Amateras Foundation and Levski Municipality on the design and future development of the Georgi Partsalev Museum.

After a successful showcase last year, the curator of the project invited a guest curator and a group of Korean artists to exhibit works in different media at the second edition, accompanied by a plein air exhibition and workshop. The invited artists come from different regions of the Republic of Korea. Each of them has an individual established creative practice. The program includes a workshop for children as well as one for adults led by the group of visiting artists.
