Pavlikeni and the World
Bulgaria – Cyprus – France
Residency Project in Pavlikeni Municipality

The idea for this one-week residency was initiated thirteen years ago, when the cultural dialogue between Amateras Foundation and Pavlikeni Municipality started on the occasion of the future cultural and information centre, including a gallery for permanent exhibition. The ambition of the organisers is to create a contemporary art collection as a result of an annual international plein air exhibition.

The invited artists in this edition are from Cyprus, France and Bulgaria.

Curators are Daniela Todorova, Inchi Kansu and Ismet Tatar.

The official opening took place in the presence of Mr. Emanuil Manolov, mayor of Pavlikeni Municipality.

The event is realized with the financial support of program “Creation ’23” of the National Culture Fund and the Cultural Calendar of Pavlikeni Municipality.
