For fifth consecutive time Sofia Paper Art Fest is hosted by the National Palace of Culture, Sofia. On June 8, 2022the solo exhibition of Eszter Bornemisza (Hungary), who had been awarded with Amateras Grand Prix 2021, opens its doors. The exhibition can be visited at the elegant and challenging space of West Foyer until June 24, 2022.
Eszter Bornemisza is a contemporary artist and a member of The International Association of Hand Papermakers and Paper Artists (IAPMA). She lives and works in Budapest, and her artistic explorations during the pandemic period were entirely focused on the breathless and exciting rhythm of urban.

The exhibition will be opened by Ms. Vesela Kondakova, Deputy Minister of Culture in Bulgaria and Ms. Szandra Miskédi, Director of “Liszt” Institute (Hungarian Cultural Institute in Bulgaria).
The exhibition and the related events are under the patronage of the Embassy of Hungary in Bulgaria and “Liszt” Institute (Hungarian Institute in Bulgaria).
The project is part of the Cultural Events Calendar of Sofia Municipality for 2022 and it is realized with the support of: Sofia Municipality, Ministry of Culture, Bulgaria, NFC – “Visual Arts” and “One-Year Grant” Programs.
