The second exhibition “Bulgaria – Japan II” from the project “20 Years Together in Art” was opened on August 26 at Chausuyama Gallery, Osaka, Japan.


The event is part of the cultural programme of Sofia Paper Art Fest during Expo Osaka 2025 and presents a joint exhibition of Bulgarian and Japanese artists, selected by the curators of both countries – Kakuko Ishii, Kenji Sato and Daniela Todorova.


The exhibition presents works of contemporary art in various media – painting, graphics, sculpture, paper objects and installations.


Participating artists:
Daniela Todorova, Todor Todorov, Petеr Lazarov, Kakuko Ishii, Kenji Sato, Ichiro Matsuo, Toru Kurita, Mitsuru Kuroki, Jiyoung Moon, Tamaki Sato, Kaori Arai and Yukiko Maeda.


The opening attracted numerous guests – partners, artists and admirers of contemporary art.


Amateras Foundation expresses special thanks to the partners from DNP Foundation and GGG, who arrived especially from Tokyo and Kyoto to attend the event.
