Wind Forest
Shabla

On August 16, at the Kite Festival Shabla 2025, the unique wind kinetic sculpture “Dialogue” will be presented, as well as the artistic project “Wind Forest” by the sculptor Todor Todorov with curator Daniela Todorova. The exhibition is presented at Kite Festival Shabla 2025. This is a long-conceived partnership that aims to present innovations and unconventional forms of ecological projects through contemporary art.

The exhibition presents a new direction in contemporary art – elemental sculpture, which uses natural forces as part of the creative process. The kinetic sculptures respond to wind and light, creating a constantly changing vision and a sense of life. “Wind Forest” is a conceptual project presenting elemental kinetic sculptures – works that do not simply exist in space, but communicate with it through movement, air, water and light.

These art objects have high applicability in the urban environment, especially in new urban zones dominated by concrete, glass and cold architecture. Form, function and philosophy intertwine into one – a sustainable, poetic and innovative vision for the cities of the future.

The program included the lecture “Innovations in the Urban Environment” by Todor Todorov – recipient of numerous international awards in the field of art and science.

“Kite Festival Shabla 2025” is realized with the financial support of the National Culture Fund, programme “Festivals” 2024.
