Wind Forest

On October 10, the Art Gallery – Stara Zagora and Amateras Foundation opened the large-scale project “True to Oneself” by the sculptor Todor Todorov, presenting the exhibition “Wind Forest” in the urban environment, a lecture on Elemental Sculpture and a digital presentation of the projects. The meeting with the author continued with the opening of the exhibition in the urban space. The project aims to draw the attention of the Stara Zagora public to the possibilities of contemporary monumental art for changes and new transformations of the urban environment.

Todor Todorov, author of the theory “Elemental Sculpture”, in his lecture spoke about the project and the various possibilities for synthesis between art, science and engineering technologies in the architectural environment.

The gallery presents the digital part accompanying the outdoor exhibition, while the kinetic wind sculpture and the exposition are located near the Museum of Literature.

The project carries a strong ecological and social message – reminding us of the importance of harmony between man and nature in a world dominated by concrete, glass and alienation. Suitable for contemporary urban zones, parks, squares, coastal alleys and business spaces, “Wind Forest” is an invitation to society to rethink the role of art – not as decoration, but as a living, breathing presence in the everyday life of modern man.
